$115 -- Sent Sovi: 6-Course Chef’s Tasting Menu for 2
About This Deal
"There's no cozier, friendlier fine dining in the South Bay" than Sent Sovi, according to Zagat, which gives it a rating of "extraordinary to perfection" (27). Run by chef-owners Josiah and Khin Khin Slone, a husband-and-wife duo, this intimate restaurant in Saratoga has "paved the way for modern French food in the area" (Gayot). For $115, dine on a six-course chef's tasting menu for two that is regularly $190.
Chef Josiah exclusively sources his French-inspired menu from local purveyors and relies heavily on seasonal ingredients. Diners can choose between the chef's tasting menu or the vegetarian tasting menu. A few current favorites include a gazpacho of Early Girl tomatoes, a lamb chop au poivre with truffled cauliflower and a Candy cap mushroom trifle.
Or two can opt for a four-course prix fixe for $89, regularly $150.
