Chosen: Marathon for Adoption is a benefit race with a mission to impact the livelihood of orphans around the world and to help adoptive families offset the cost of adoption. All proceeds will go towards adoptive families, as well as the direct care of orphaned children in Burundi & Haiti. Many families seeking to adopt take part in the marathon, with friends and family pledging support to help defray significant adoption costs.

This year's event features both a full and half-marathon, with an out-and-back course sharing the same start and finish line, just northwest of downtown New Braunfels, in historic Gruene. Runners do not have to be part of a team to race, and registration is currently open. Registrants may opt for the additional VIP package, which includes on-site parking, an embroidered race visor, and post-race lounging area with trigger-point massage.
